Version history

Each version number links to its downloads. Older versions are listed below.

1.1.0 — runs without Python. The sai command is now a native program, about 20 times faster on a benchmark. SaiLang IDLE, windows, games and images still need Python.

1.0.9 — faster arithmetic and statement handling. About 19% faster on a benchmark program, with the same results.

1.0.8 — new maths functions: power, sin, cos, tan, pi, radians, degrees, ln and log10.

1.0.7 — improved debugging: log(x) shows a value with its line, and show_variables() lists the variables you can use.

1.0.6 — file saving and loading: save_value, load_value and delete_file.

1.0.5 — better list handling: sort_list, reverse_list, first_item, last_item, sum_list, insert_at, slice, and index_of now works on lists.

1.0.4 — new string commands (starts_with, ends_with, index_of, repeat_text, reverse_text). The editor also has line numbers, Find and Go to Line from 1.0.3.

1.0.3 — improved SaiLang IDLE: line numbers, Find (Ctrl+F) and Go to Line (Ctrl+G).
